It has been a while since I last wrote a blog, and have been very busy of late. I have finally finished working on the expedition Walking the Nile for the Channel 4 documentary, where Levison Wood became the first person to ever walk the length of the River Nile. I was responsible for the overall management of the expedition as well as looking after the safety and logistics of the documentary team every time they met up with Lev to film him along the journey. I have been very lucky to be able to document this with my own camera and have had a number of publications and papers publishing them. I thought it would be a good idea to put some of them here;
First of all is the Channel 4 dedicated walking the Nile website;
Then Red bull Adventure did a piece on their website;
One of the best publications came from an inflight magazine in the form of British Airways High Life Magazine. This is one of the most read magazines out there and we got the cover story, so am really happy with this feature. I even got to fly with BA on the day it came out as a stroke of luck so good to grab a few copies!
Shortly after that came another cover story Sunday Telegraph Travel section. It got a lot of exposure and it looked great in print, but here is the web link for it;
Another big British paper came next with the Guardian. They released a nice print article with three pictures but then went with a 'In Pictures' article just using more of my pics which was great to see;
Next comes the BBC when Lev completed the journey.
I then got a request from a photography magazine in Germany who wanted to run a feature. It was the cover story and ran over ten pages, and really happy with it. You can digitally view the magazine by clicking on the link.
There have been more, and as the program gets launched then I expect more will follow. Not a bad collection to the press cuttings though!
